If you haven’t realized it, Main Stream Media (MSM) has been suppressing Asian Americans, specifically straight Asian American men. It’s not just in Hollywood though, its also in the news.
2020 US Democratic Party Candidate Andrew Yang is a clear example of this in action. Currently polling at 3% by some conservative estimates (extremely under represented in my analysis), Andrew Yang is pretty much an unknown in the Democrat party race according to MSM. Yet according to the 538 blog, Andrew has a decent shot at winning the Democratic nomination under the campaign for Universal Basic Income (UBI) and forward looking policies (dealing with automation and cryptocurrency).
I highly recommend listening to the Joe Rogan podcast where he interviews Yang about his views and policy.
These are the 12 major candidates running for the Democratic nomination: Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris, Robert (Beto) O’Rourke, Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker, Amy Klobuchar, Julian Castro, Kirsten Gillibrand, Pete Buttigieg (pronounced BOOTY-JUDGE), Jay Inslee, and finally Andrew Yang.
NBC is showing a bunch of unknowns instead of Yang
Even Bernie is suppressing a fellow democratic runner. This is extremely dishonest and FAKE news!!! Andrew Yang has 81% small donors and over 100k donors this early! The people support Yang!
The Real Stats
Nowadays the best way to find the popularity of someone is to check out Google Trends:
As we can see Yang has a considerable lead over the other Main Stream Democrat runners. The media suppression is real. A quick glance at social media like Facebook and Twitter will give similar results. With this much of a lead this early, it shouldn’t be too much of a stretch that Andrew can get the momentum needed to get the Democratic Party nomination for 2020.
Why is this important?
Andrew Yang is important because he is fighting against the corrupt media and politicians. Asian Americans need to be more involved in politics and speak our voices. If not us, who will speak on our behalf (nobody!!). Even if you disagree with his policies, we should spread the word. There is an Asian American man running for president. Asian American men exist!
What about his policies?
He has a large list of policies on his site and I believe that he goes the most indepth when talking about them. The fact is that the other politicians are just rehashing the same lip service and screwing over the American people. Yang has it right to look forward and from listening to him speak he has a firm understanding of the issues that America faces in the upcoming years. I believe him to be the most in touch with ordinary working class Americans.
What we can do
We can donate to Yang’s campaign, even if it is $1. No matter what you think about his policies, the more media time we can get a straight Asian American man out there the better. We exist, despite all the suppression that main stream media enacts. Don’t trust MSM – support independent bloggers and media, and as always, trust what your eyes tell you.
We must vote for Yang in the primaries. Some states require that you register for the Democratic party to vote in their primaries (for example California). Other states do not require you to be a registered party member, though please check your states voting regulations first. I personally will go out and volunteer to campaign for him.
In addition, spread the word!
